About

Femtanyl is an electronic music duo from Canada with roots in Toronto whose sound is characterized by aggression and chaos, with influences coming from genres such as digital hardcore, webcore, breakcore, and jungle. The group was initially formed as a solo act by the singer-songwriter and producer Noelle Stockwood, who was born as Noelle Mansbridge, in May 2023 and grew to become a duo in 2025.

Femtanyl

Femtanyl is a Toronto-based band that performs jungle and digital hardcore music, made up of Noelle Stockwood (singing and production) and Juno Callender (percussion and production). Additionally, Skyla Hearsethief (DJ and design) is a live member of the band, and the group’s music is well-known for its melancholic or nostalgic tone.

“S33K H3LP” marked the debut single of Femtanyl, released in May 2023. More singles were released during the course of the year, followed by the debut EP titled ‘CHASER’, released in August. Femtanyl made their first live performance in January 2024.

Origins & Formation

  • Founded: 2023 by Noelle Stockwood (vocals, songwriter), who previously released music under the name LilyNiku.

  • Joined by: Juno Callender (multi‑instrumentalist, live drummer) in 2025, officially becoming a duo.

  • Reception: Praised for rejecting conformity and blending punk, screamo, hardcore, techno, and EDM influences.

  • Tour: Embarked on a U.S. tour in 2026, ending with a performance at Primavera Sound Festival in Barcelona.
